Join a research project focused on developing new ways to make proteins using microbes and reactive gases. You will be part of an international team working on sustainable, non-agricultural food solutions. This work is part of the HydroCow consortium, which brings together experts from several countries to create innovative technologies for protein production.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Develop high-throughput assays, often using fluorescence with biosensors or chemicals
  • Test and characterize how well these assays work with lead strains
  • Run large-scale screening campaigns with up to 1 million variant strains
  • Share and report results in consortium meetings
  • Coordinate tasks with partners from the HydroCow consortium

Was du mitbringst

  • Master's degree in molecular biology, microbiology, or industrial biotechnology
  • Good communication and teamwork skills in English
  • It is helpful if you also have some of these skills:
    • Strong background in chemistry and spectrometric analysis
    • Experience developing protocols from scratch
    • Experience working under atmosphere control (such as in glove boxes)
    • Ability to start promptly
