Deine Aufgaben

  • Work with researchers and users to understand and solve real-world problems
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning projects, including large language model training, inference, and fine-tuning
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize software and systems, from core libraries to scripting and automation
  • Take ownership of important tasks and see them through to completion
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and team members
  • Tackle open-ended problems, explore solutions, and learn as you go

  • Experience with some of the following areas is expected (not all):
    • Large-scale parallel and distributed systems
    • C/C++, Python, CUDA, OpenMP, Spack
    • Linux systems, scripting, Slurm, systems engineering
    • Containerized and Kubernetes-based service deployment
    • Machine learning workflows (e.g., PyTorch, Megatron)
    • Storage and data systems (e.g., Lustre, NFS, VAST)
    • High-speed networking (e.g., NCCL, RCCL, MPI)
    • Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., DCGM, LDMS)
    • Testing frameworks, software quality, DevOps/GitOps
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with complex problems
  • Clear communicator who understands user needs
  • Open to learning new technologies and working across disciplines
  • Comfortable asking for help and finding the right expertise
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, agile environments
  • Experience with test-driven development is a plus
