Join an innovative project at the University Hospital Zurich focused on supporting families in critical situations through digital health solutions. Deepen your expertise in family-focused health care, digital interventions, and user-centered design within an interdisciplinary, clinical environment. This temporary position offers a 2.5-year opportunity to play a central role in the eFICUS project, developing and testing digital health interventions for families affected by critical illness.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Plan and conduct co-design activities, including data collection and analysis through observation and interviews.
  • Develop a digital health intervention in collaboration with research partners, clinical teams, and patient research partners.
  • Implement and program the digital health intervention on the technology platform with the technology partner.
  • Conduct usability testing and real-world evaluation of the digital health intervention.
  • Prepare peer-reviewed publications and present findings in scientific, clinical, and public contexts.
  • Work actively with team members and partners.
  • Participate in other research and teaching activities of the group.
  • Supervise and support Master students.
  • Prepare applications for competitive research funding.
  • Further develop your own research profile.

Was du mitbringst

  • PhD in Nursing Science, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Research experience in digital or public health, nursing, or critical care (user-centered design and implementation science experience is a plus).
  • Strong interest in family-focused health care and digital health, with a desire to stay updated on new trends and methods in clinical and implementation science nursing research.
  • Ability to work independently and in diverse research teams, collaborating closely with patients, families, clinicians, and researchers from different institutions or disciplines.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication, and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Emerging track record of high-quality research publications and conference papers.
  • Ability to supervise and support undergraduate students and participate in teaching activities.
